Religion and clashes in jerusalem

Settled in the 4th millennium BCA, Jerusalem is the centre of three religions. Judaism, Islam and Christianity. It has been attacked more than 50 times in its history. Much of Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans under Titus 70CE. Today it is as tumultuous as then with Israel having to manage carefully between the various constituencies.
